There are lifeguards in attendance on the beach at Cala Millor during the busy times and warning flags to keep holidaymakers informed of the latest conditions - when the red flag is flying - do not swim.

Cala Millor has a decent range of shops and plenty of bars and restaurants for daytime dining and evening entertainment. There are a number of British style bars offering such evening activities as karaoke, bingo, quiz nights and also live singers and entertainers, those who are looking for night clubs and the like would be better advised to head for one of the busier resorts such as Magaluf.

If you are hiring a car you may want to take a trip to the nearby caves at Coves de Drac (Dragon Caves) and Coves del Hams, these caves are listed among the most popular attractions on Mallorca, and lots of visitors every day enter the dark, humid caves to see amongst other things the largest underground lake in Europe (found in Coves de Drac).
