Cala Millor ("Better Bay") is situated on Mallorca's rugged east coast, and is the biggest resort along this stretch of coast, tourism began here in the 1930's but exploded during the 1960's and 1970's. Separated from its quieter neighbour Cala Bona by a rocky headland, Cala Millor is a lively resort enjoying superb weather conditions, and with a fine beach and plenty of bars and restaurants, providing both daytime refreshment and nourishment and lively nightime entertainment, there are also a number of discos to keep the younger generation happy.
The beach is claimed to be one of the best on Mallorca and is made of fine white sand, gently sloping into the clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, popular for sunbathing, swimming and water sports the beach is very popular with families as it is both safe and clean. Overall Cala Millor would be considered to be a family resort, those seeking a club scene would be better to head for a resort like Magaluf.

Cala Millor can be reached by way of the MA-4030 which is linked to the MA-15 from Palma de Mallorca, it is about 70 kilometres from the airport to the south-east of Palma, Majorca is about 260 kilometres from the mainland of Spain.
