Capocorb Vell Mallorca - The prehistoric settlement of Capocorb Vell is located some 5 kilometres inland from Cala Pi on Mallorca's south coast. Possibly dating from as early as 1200 BC, this ancient village was built from huge stones covering a considerable area, on the site there are 5 'talaiots' (3 round and 2 square) and a number of smaller dwellings.

Capocorb Vell was declared a cultural heritage site way back in 1931, establishing it as the most important prehistoric site on the island.
