Mil Palmeras is very handy for touring the southern Costa Blanca and is around a 45 minute drive from the airport at Alicante, Murcia (San Javier) airport is closer at about 15 minutes. The golf courses of Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor are just a 5 minute drive away. The bustling town of Torrevieja is a little north of Mil Palmeras on the N-332 and here you will find the huge friday market. To the north is Torre de la Horadada.
