Los Balcones: A popular area and urbanization located on the Orihuela Costa, Spain, Los Balcones is situated just south of Torrevieja on the southern Costa Blanca.
Developing mainly due to the demand for holiday homes in this desirable area, Los Balcones lies beside the Torrevieja salt lagoon and enjoys lovely weather conditions, with great health benefits.
Centred around a commercial area, called the Filton Centre, where shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, provide facilities for both visitors and local residents, Los Balcones is also close to the beaches of Torrevieja and the Orihuela Costa resorts such as Punta Prima.
A great spot for golfers, Los Balcones is within a short drive of at least 6 courses, the closest being Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas.
Los Balcones is also ideal for touring the southern Costa Blanca region.
Easily reached from both Murcia and Alicante airports, Los Balcones is handy as a holiday destination, and there are a number of self-catering properties on offer in the area.

Los Balcones Weather - The weather in Los Balcones is mostly warm and sunny all year round and the village enjoys a fabulous temperate Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild pleasant winters, making it an ideal location for a vacation or for re-location to sunnier climes.
There is a good selection of homes to buy or rent in Los Balcones and you should have no problem finding a property.
The AP-7 motorway runs close to Los Balcones and the junction signposted “Salinas” is the place to get off the motorway and access the resort, which can also be accessed from the N-332 coastal road, Torrevieja is only about five minutes driving distance away.
