Rojales is situated just inland from Guardamar del Segura in the Vega Baja district of the Alicante province. Rojales is a lovely little town which sits on the banks of the River Segura and has for many centuries been important for the irrigation of the region, there are some interesting place to visit in the town including the famous cave houses and the shell house. Rojales is situated just off the CV-920 between Guardamar del Segura and Orihuela, and can be accessed from the N-332 and the AP-7 motorway.
