Montgo National Park: The National Park of Montgo spans the coastal plain located between Denia and Javea on the northen Costa Blanca, Alicante, Spain, including the mountain of the same name and taking in the coastal area of Cabo San Antonio. The plant communities of interest in the Montgo National Park are located on the cliffs of the Cape, where you will find samphire, and the Valencia horseshoe, boasting also several endemic species, the dotted coscojares dotted with mastic trees and buckthorn occupying the upper area of the Montgo massif, while the plain is covered by pine reforestation of Aleppo and crops on the slopes of the Montgo massif are dominated by western Mediterranean scrub. Among the fauna you may see are reptiles like the lizard and Iberian skink, mammals such as genets and badger, and birds like the Yellow-legged Gull, Audouin's gull, sandwich tern, eagle and peregrine falcon.
