Menorca is a popular holiday destination in the Spanish Balearic Islands which lay in the Mediterranean Sea. Menorca (Minorca) has a good range of hotels and holiday rental accommodation, and is quieter than both Ibiza and Mallorca (Majorca).

Menorca has a great range of hotels and holiday rental accommodation. You can book hotels at the cheapest rates by using the search box above right, which compares dozens of Menorca hotel providers. There are a few hotels featured within the website and these include the Sol Gavilanes in Cala Galdana, the Valentin Star in Cala n Bosch, and the Hotel Santo Tomas in the town of Santo Tomas.
To make the most of the island you would be advised to hire a car, this will give you more freedom to visit some of its best attractions and prevent you from being confined to your resort, while Menorca weather is pretty reliable during the summer months, on a cloudy day, you may wish to take the opportunity to travel around.
A car would also be handy if you wish to play golf whilst visiting, the only course in Menorca is the Golf Son Parc course located right in the north of the island, beside the resort of Son Parc.
Menorca has almost as many beaches as Mallorca and Ibiza combined, though many are relatively inaccessible and difficult to get to. Many of the best beaches are on the south coast.

The airport for Menorca is situated close to the capital of the island Mahon, in the south-east. Your resort could be some distance away and it may be necessary to organise a transfer to your destination.
