Cala Blanca was first developed as a holiday resort in the 1990's, getting its name from the two stunning white, sandy beaches, which are among the main attractions of the resort. Ideal for relaxing family holidays in Minorca, the safe, shallow bathing waters are perfectly suitable for young children, while the pleasant weather and long hours of sunshine will be beneficial for yound and old alike.
Don't visit Cala Blanca (or in fact Menorca) looking for a frantic nightlife scene and buzzing nighclubs, for you will be sorely disappointed, but do come looking for a tranquil holiday, great for recharging the batteries and preparing yourself for a return to the 'rat race'.
As can be seen on this Cala Blanca map, the resort is located just off the ME-24, it is around 5 kilometres south of Ciutadella and only 45 kilometres from the airport at Mahon.
