Los Alcázares is situated just off the N332 coast road between Cartagena and San Javier, and has some fine beaches which are gently lapped by the warm waters of the Mar Menor. Los Alcazares is a popular location for holiday homes and for relocation and has a sizeable expat community. Very busy in the summer time Los Alcazares is fairly quiet during the winter.
