Lake Como is located in the Lombardy region of Italy, it is the third largest lake in the country having an area of 146 square kilometres. It is a popular area for holidays, and has been a haunt of the rich since Roman times, its banks dotted with luxury villas owned by the rich and famous. There are dozens of hotels where you can enjoy a holiday by the lake, and also privately owned cottages which you can rent on a weekly basis.

Lake Como is located in the Lombardy region of Italy, in the north of the country near to its border with Switzerland, the area can be reached via the SS36 from Monza.
