Costa Blanca Resorts - Calpe
Located between Altea and Javea on the northern Costa Blanca coastline is the beautiful resort of Calpe. Famous for its towering rock, the Peñon de Ifach, Calpe is a popular and busy resort, its lovely marina sits alongside the old fishing port which dates back to Roman times. Remains of an ancient fish salting factory still stands beside the seafront promenade.
The fine sandy beaches of Calpe attract sun-worshippers from all over Europe during the summer and well into the mild winter months.
The spectacular Penyal de Ifach stands guard over the Bay of Calpe and is now a protected Nature Reserve, with over 300 species of wild flowers and plants, together with some rare bird species.
Calpe is located just off the N332 coast road and can also be easily accessed from the AP-7 motorway.
