Benifallim - Costa Blanca - Spain  - Benifallim is a tiny and remote village situated on the slopes of the Sierra del Rontonar mountains on the northern Costa Blanca, Spain. With a population of less than 200 it is a peaceful and secluded place.

Benifallim has narrow cobbled streets, white-walled houses and a Moorish castle dating back to the times of the Arab conquest (8th - 13th Centuries). Jaime I (The Conquistador) took the castle during the Christian re-conquest and it later became the property of the Counts of Rotova.

Due to its remoteness the Moors inhabited Benifallim until they were finally expelled in 1609.

This typically Spanish village can be reached via the CV-785, south-east of Alcoi (Alcoy)
.
